Kids say the funniest things...

"Cornbread"

Last week, I was getting ready to put supper on the table and I asked our 6 year old to help set it for me. She agreed. We were having corn on the cob that night and so I asked her to put the "holders" (is there an official name for these?) for the corn on the cob at each plate. I already had a homemade bread roll on her sister's plate. So when I turned back around to bring more food to the table, this is what I found. I laughed as Rachel said, "Now it's cornbread"! :)

Jenn, that's funny! and exactly what Andi would say, "I don't know if that's what you call them" and the picture is great! Just wanted to let you know... I don't get very many comments on mine so I thought i'd give you some props!

Homemade bread???!!! I may not be worthy to read your blog! Wow! I am beyond impressed. (BTW, Pampered Chef calls them corn cob nobs.)

So good seeing you at the NACC!

In my favorite sport, tennis, it really is helpful to have a good serve. It could help you in winning more games. In the same way, life is a lot like that. We need to do our best in "serving" others. Jesus didn't come to be served, but to serve. There are many ways to do this. Just maybe, in our service, God will use us "to win one more" for Him...
